Research Equipment Status Survey for the Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation - October 2024
Confirm the status of research equipment, attach equipment labels, and handle underutilized or idle equipment disposal.
Ⅰ. Purpose of the Survey
1.
Efficient Management and Promotion of Shared Use of Research Facilities and Equipment Purchased with R&D Budget:
•
Maintain a history of each research equipment, including equipment name, model, manufacturer, and photos.
•
Equipment purchased through the foundation must be registered and managed in the Research Administration System (rERP).
2.
Reorganization of Equipment Holdings Based on Adjusted Registration Criteria:
•
Research equipment refers to tangible non-consumable assets with a construction cost of over 1 million KRW and a durability of over one year for scientific and technological activities.
3.
Check Utilization Status of Research Equipment and Determine Disposal.
4.
Dispose of Determined Unusable Research Equipment.
Ⅱ. Survey Details
1.
Verify Research Equipment Status and Attach Equipment Labels (Scheduled for November 2024; individual inspection schedules will be coordinated):

Disposal of Underutilized and Idle Equipment:
•
Complete and return the ‘Equipment Status Change and Disposal Application Form’ (Attachment Form No. 7).

When filling out, make a copy of the file - Create a Copy.Ⅲ. Survey Schedule and Method
•
Survey Period: October 28, 2024 (Monday) to November 15, 2024 (Friday) (3 weeks)
•
Survey Method: Each faculty member should register available dates in the flow project ‘[Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation] Research Equipment Management’.
Ⅳ. Deadline for Disposal Application
By November 15, 2024 (Friday)
Ⅴ. Subsequent Procedures
•
Verify the status of research equipment and attach equipment labels (November 2024).
•
Equipment determined for disposal will be evaluated and processed through the 'Industry-Academia Cooperation Committee'.
